Welcome to our website. The officers and staff of the department are very proud to serve the citizens of West Columbia. We are a small department of only 10 full time officers, including myself, a Lieutenant, a detective, 5 full time dispatchers, 1 criminal case manager and 1 animal control officer. We have 5 reserve officers that help out anytime they can. Even with our small staff, we are able to provide 24 hour police service to our citizens, and 24 hour dispatch service to a number of fire departments and Central EMS.
