We can not express how PROUD we are of our community for all the support and help during Hurricane Ike. West Columbia suffered little damage, but experienced widespread power outage for almost two weeks. We would like to Thank each and every Business, Citizen, City worker, Police Officer, and so many more, for helping us obtain and deliver ice, water, and food to our citizens in need. With the assistance and support of the community West Columbia was able to assist her own prior to the arrival of FEMA. Thank you to all who assisted in helping our community survive the storm.
